Stonehill College to build new on-campus sports arena with $15M grant

New England Council member, Stonehill College, has received the largest financial gift in the institution’s history. Alumni Tom Bogan, former CEO of Adaptive Insights, and his wife, Kathleen Bogan, have donated $15 million toward the construction of new basketball and hockey arenas. The new 120,000-square-foot facility will be named the Tom & Kathleen Bogan Arena.
“Over the years, Tom has been a thoughtful and loyal alumnus. He and Kathleen continually demonstrate their philanthropic spirit through the many ways they support Stonehill’s mission, as well as its bright future,” said Stonehill President Rev. John F. Denning.
The $15M grant will assist with Stonehill’s $65 million arena construction, which is part of the school’s strategic plan for 2026-2030. The basketball and hockey arenas will each seat up to 2,500 people.
The NEC congratulates Stonehill College on this exciting new resource that will enhance the student experience.
