About the NEC Fellows Program

The New England Council Fellows Program was launched in 2025 to commemorate the Council’s 100th anniversary. Under this program, the Council provides funding to non-profit organizations in the region to support the hiring of a summer intern to support their charitable mission. In the first year of the program, the Council selected six organizations to host NEC Fellows during the summer of 2025. In 2026, the Council expanded the program, doubling the number of fellows. Each organization receives $5,000 to support the hiring of a fellow during the summer months.
