Point32Health names new director of community investments

New England Council member, Point32Health, has recently named Beth Chandler as its new director of community investments. Chandler currently serves as YW Boston’s president and CEO. 

Chandler has been with YW Boston since 2012 and was president and CEO for six years. Before YW Boston, she served as vice president for operations at the Achievement Network. She has also worked at Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corp., NeighborWorks America, The Urban Institute, Bank of America, and as a professional basketball player. Chandler holds degrees from Columbia Business School and Harvard-Radcliff College and is a recipient of the Massachusetts Nonprofit Network Lifetime Award.  

“Beth’s commitment to collaboration, community engagement and eliminating racism aligns with the Foundation’s values,” said Nora Moreno Cargie, president of Point32Health Foundation and vice president for Corporate Citizenship at Point32Health, in a press release. “She is a longstanding champion for diversity, equity and inclusion, and will be a strong advocate for equity in aging.” 

The New England Council congratulates Beth Chandler on this important new role.
