Mass General Brigham announces new Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion leadership
New England Council member, Mass General Brigham has named Anna Brown as its new Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer. Brown has more than 20 years of experience working in DEI.
Brown previously worked as a critical care nurse but then transitioned to study law at Howard University. After working for companies such as Shearman & Sterling and Continuum Health Partners, she was selected by Mass General Brigham to help reach systemwide DEI goals.
“I am thrilled to have Anna at the helm of our diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. Her unique background in healthcare, law, and diversity and inclusion work will help us to thoughtfully approach the challenges we face as a healthcare system and inform innovative ways that we can address these issues” said Dr. Anne Klibanski, President and CEO of Mass General Brigham.
The New England Council congratulates Mass General Brigham for its new leadership and continued commitment to Diversity and Inclusion.
