Fallon Health names Manny Lopes as next President and CEO
New England Council member, Fallon Health announced that Manny Lopes will be the company’s new CEO and President starting on July 1 following the retirement of Richard Burke.
The appointment of Lopes follows a comprehensive nationwide search conducted by the Fallon Health Board of Directors. The board emphasized his “extensive and highly relevant experience” as the primary reason for selecting him as the ideal candidate. Lopes possesses a wealth of experience, having held significant positions at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center.
“I am honored and grateful to the Fallon Health Board of Directors for the opportunity to be the next president and CEO of this exceptional organization,” said Lopes in a press release. “I look forward to leading the organization and its dedicated, passionate, and caring employees in pursuit of its vision to be the leader in providing exceptional coordinated care and coverage that meets the unique, diverse and changing needs of its members.”
