Aetna’s headquarters in Hartford, CT.

New England Council member CVS Health, parent company of Hartford health insurer Aetna, has recently announced the distribution of $750,000 in grants to 15 nonprofits in Connecticut.

This funding has been provided by the CVS Health Foundation’s Hometown Fund. The Hometown Fund aims to support nonprofits located near the company’s Headquarters. Nonprofits within 20 miles of Hartford could apply for these grants. This year, the foundation awarded $50,000 each to 15 Connecticut nonprofits.

“We…are confident that 2024 grantees will continue transforming lives in Connecticut, as well as playing a vital role in enhancing the well-being and health of our company,” said Sheryl Burke, Senior Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility and Chief Sustainability Officer.

The New England Council commends CVS Health Foundation for its charitable actions.
