Ascentria Care Alliance Expands Services with New Worcester Headquarters

New England Council Member, Ascentria Care Alliance, announced the expansion and relocation of its Worcester, MA, headquarters in October. Ascentria, one of New England’s largest and most trusted human services organizations, has been serving the community for more than 150 years. The new space, located at 18 Chestnut Street in Worcester and referred to as “The Lighthouse at Ascentria” will improve functionality while also creating an expansive hub for more opportunities. To support this move, the “Building a Future of Impact” campaign has successfully raised a total of $950,000.

Ascentria’s team describes the new space to embody “a beacon of hope, a safe harbor, and a guiding light,” designed to bring the community together and provide an inclusive space for all. Ascentria strives to channel creativity and is excited to treat their new space as a ‘blank canvas’ for its clients and team. With new a new event space, clinical rooms, family meeting rooms, and classrooms, workplace engagement will be at an all-time high.

April Kelly, Chief of Staff and VP of Real Estate, highlighted the significance of the relocation: “This is more than a new address—it’s a strategic investment in the community,” Ascentria values networking and “the new space allows us to increase direct services, deepen partnerships, and operate more sustainably.”

The New England Council congratulates Ascentria Care Alliance on this milestone expansion and applauds their continued commitment to supporting communities throughout New England.
