2026 Women’s Leadership in MA Impact Study – Participate Now!

The New England Council is pleased to once again serve as a Study Research Partner to The Women’s Edge for their 2026 Women’s Leadership Impact Study. Council members are invited to participate in the study, the 8th annual state-wide study focusing on understanding employers’ actions to retain and advance women employees in Massachusetts. The survey will be open through July 2026.

opt in to the study

The survey will take approximately 20 minutes, and focuses on three areas:

  • Assessment of the metrics of the leadership pipeline in your organization
  • Allocation of resources to leadership development programs for women
  • Measuring success/effectiveness of leadership programs, specifically around the development, retention and advancement of all women

The Women’s Leadership Impact Study in MA is a longitudinal survey, conducted annually, on the status of women’s leadership across the Massachusetts business community. The goal of the Impact Study is to better understand and report on practices and challenges for the effective development, retention, and advancement of women in companies across the state.

Why participate?

  1. By sharing your data around employee advancement, you help us establish a baseline, uncover gap areas, identify, and scale best practices, and ultimately yield measurable progress across the state.
  2. Participation makes a statement to your employees, customers, investors, and public policy makers that advancement of women in leadership matters to your organizational success.

The Women’s Edge partners with the nationally recognized research firm Researchscape to conduct the research and provide the analysis for this project. All responses will remain confidential. If you choose to request a copy of the final report, the only piece of data shared with The Women’s Edge will be your email address.

Please direct any questions to Kelly Halnen, Manager of Programs & Marketing at The Women’s Edge, at khalnen@thewomensedge.org.
