Natasha Silva

Natasha Silva is the Director of Federal Affairs at The New England Council. Based in the Council’s Boston office, she serves as the primary staff liaison to the Council’s Financial Services Committee and Housing Working Group, working closely with members in these sectors on advocacy, programming, and special projects.
Natasha joined the Council in August 2025 after nearly a decade on Capitol Hill and in federal lobbying. She served as a Legislative Assistant for U.S. Representative Stephen F. Lynch, a member of the House Financial Services Committee, and later as Legislative Director for U.S. Representative Bill Keating. Most recently, she represented the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in its federal and state government relations work.
A native of Massachusetts and daughter of Portuguese immigrants from the Azores, Natasha earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Bridgewater State University and holds dual master’s degrees in Political Science and Public Administration from Suffolk University. She is currently completing her third master’s degree in Law and Management at the University of Lisbon in Portugal.
