Partnerships for Talent Pipeline Directory

Established 2019

Sacred Heart University’s iHub powered by Verizon

Sacred Heart University

In 2019, Sacred Heart University (SHU) entered into an agreement with Verizon for the creation, management, and operation of an innovative coworking space on SHU’s campus called the SHU iHub powered by Verizon. This is the first time Verizon has partnered to locate a co-working space on a college campus. This space is a hub for innovation teams from large and small companies; for entrepreneurs who want to test their ideas, grow their businesses, and work collaboratively in a supportive environment; and for individual professionals who want to work in a dynamic office environment. The space offers levels of membership and services that include private office space, hot desks, meeting and conference room space, events, recruiting services, marketing services and programming services. The innovation community draws on SHU faculty, staff, students and other resources to build an academic-focused environment that attracts local startups, entrepreneurs, corporations, and other forward-thinking organizations and individuals
