University of New England joins global entrepreneurship network

New England Council member, the University of New England, recently announced that it is joining the Babson Collaborative for Entrepreneurship Education.
UNE was accepted into the network, which Babson Academy administers at Babson College in Wellesley, Mass. The network connects more than 40 member universities across 30 different countries to share recommendations of practices, research, and programming. Through the program, faculty and students will gain access to “curriculum design resources, global classroom collaboration opportunities, and participation in events designed to strengthen institutional entrepreneurship ecosystems.”
“This is a significant step forward in our mission to grow a robust culture of innovation and entrepreneurship that benefits our students, the state of Maine and New England as a whole. At UNE, entrepreneurship is not just a program — it’s a mindset we instill in students across all areas of study,” said Norm O’Reilly, dean of the University of New England’s College of Business.
The New England Council congratulates the University of New England for joining this network that will provide expanded partnerships, shared research, and access to innovative teaching tools.
