Suffolk University partners with the Boston Celtics

New England Council member, Suffolk University, announced a multi-year partnership with the Boston Celtics for a new Sports Management program at the Sawyer School of Business.

Starting in the Fall 2023 semester, students at the Suffolk University Sawyer School of Business will be able to major or minor in the new, interdisciplinary “Sports Management” program. This program will allow students to gain experience by working alongside business professionals and tackle challenges and opportunities relating to the Celtics’ business. The main objective of this program is to not only give students as many touchpoints as possible with the Celtics and its executives, but to also provide relevant experience.

“This new relationship exemplifies how we utilize our distinctive downtown Boston location and our multidisciplinary programs to create transformational and immersive educational experiences,” said Amy Zeng, Dean of the Sawyer Business School.

The New England Council congratulates Suffolk University and the Boston Celtics for this partnership.
