South Shore Health Names New Vice Chair of Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care

NEC Member South Shore Health has named William Tollefsen, MD, as the new Vice Chair of Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care.

Dr. Tollefsen will be responsible for providing strategic leadership for all urgent care providers and staff, including seven Health Express urgent care centers located in the South Shore region of Massachusetts. Tollefsen will continue his roles in Mobile Integrated Health and Emergency Medical Services (EMS). He is also the EMS Medical Director for eight municipal and three private ambulance services on the South Shore, providing medical oversight for more than 400 paramedics.
