JP Morgan Chase & Co. to open 14 new Massachusetts locations this year

New England Council member, JP Morgan Chase & Co., announced a few weeks ago that they will be opening 14 new branches in Massachusetts communities by the end of the year. This follows the announcement a year ago of adding 500 branches nationwide, including at least 50 in Massachusetts by the end of 2027.

Currently JP Morgan Chase & Co. operates 79 branches in Massachusetts, with 7 new branches already having opened in 2025. The 14 communities with planned branches span across the state, including one in Boston’s Seaport, some on Cape Cod in Falmouth and Hyannis, and many more. Chase estimates that this year’s expansion will bring about 250 jobs to Massachusetts, in addition to already 70 new hires this year.

“Every day, nearly 1 million customers visit our branches to manage their finances or get advice on how to save, spend and grow their money. We are very proud of the role we play to serve these customers while providing opportunities for long-term economic growth through construction, community investments and local hiring,” said Jennifer Roberts, CEO of Chase Consumer Banking.

The New England Council commends JP Morgan Chase & Co. for its commitment to improving financial access in Massachusetts, and all of New England, as they also plan to add 6 branches in New Hampshire next year and one in Maine and Vermont respectively.
