John Hancock named to Fortune’s 2025 “Change the World” list

New England Council member, John Hancock, has been named to Fortune’s 2025 Change the World list, recognizing 50 companies making a positive impact through its core business strategies.  John Hancock’s Vitality Program has transformed the way life insurance promotes wellness.

Launched in 2015, the John Hancock Vitality Program helps customers make healthier life choices to address lifestyle-related diseases. Members have reported lower blood pressure and increased physical activity. Today, the program has evolved to incorporate the latest innovations in health science and technology, connecting consumers with tools to better their health.

“This meaningful recognition from Fortune is a testament to our commitment to helping customers live longer, healthier, better lives,” said Brooks Tingle, President and CEO of John Hancock. Tingle urges the LPI to “change the cultural narrative” on aging by normalizing discussions about health, care, and seeking support.

The New England Council congratulates John Hancock on being named to Fortune’s Change the World list and commends the company’s ongoing innovation in promoting health and longevity for Americans.
