Fallon Health Earns NCQA’s Highest Medicaid Health Plan Rating
New England Council Fallon Health recently earned five out of five stars in the National Committee for Quality Assurance’s (NCQA) 2026 Health Plan Ratings: Medicaid, receiving the organization’s highest possible rating. Fallon Health is the only Massachusetts health plan and one of just four nationwide to receive a five-star rating among approximately 280 Medicaid health plans evaluated.
The rating reflects performance across measures including preventative care, chronic condition management, member experience, and health outcomes. The 2026 designation marks Fallon Health’s first NCQA five-star rating, building on the organization’s longstanding record of quality performance among Medicaid health plans.
“Our teams deserve tremendous credit for this achievement,” said Manny Lopes, President and CEO of Fallon Health. “This recognition reflects years of collaboration among provider partners, community organizations, and Fallon Health employees working together to deliver high-quality care and a better experience for the members we serve.”
The New England Council congratulates Fallon Health on receiving NCQA’s highest Medicaid health plan rating and recognizes the organization’s continued focus on quality, health outcomes, and coordinated care.
