Panelists Discuss Importance of Investment in 5G, Broadband Infrastructure

The New England Council wrapped up it’s four-part “Investing in Infrastructure” virtual event series on Thursday, July 22, 2021.   “Investing in Infrastructure: Innovation” focused on the need for investment in 5G and broadband infrastructure to close the digital divide and support continued innovation in the region.
Peter Howe, Senior Advisor at Denterlein, moderated the discussion. Panelists were:
  • Kelly Cole, Senior Vice President, Government Affairs, CTIA
  • Steven Johnston, CEO, OpenCape
  • Nia Matthis, Vice President, State and Local Government Affairs, Verizon
  • Rich Rossi, Senior Vice President, General Counsel, American Tower
  • John Sutich, Vice President of Government Affairs, Comcast
The program was the fourth and final in a series that the Council presented in recent months as Congress and the Administration worked toward a major federal infrastructure investment package.  Learn more about the first three programs in this series:
