Five New Directors Elected to NEC Board

Executives from Construction, Energy, Healthcare, and Insurance Sectors Join NEC Board

At its recent meeting at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the U.S. Senate in Boston, MA, The New England Council’s Board of Directors voted unanimously to elect a slate of five new Directors.  Chaired by John Hailer, Chairman of Diffractive Managers Group the Council’s Board includes senior leaders from some of the region’s most well-known and well-respected businesses and organizations, representing all six New England states and every sector of the region’s economy.

The five new Directors are:

  • Francis X. Hayes, President, Bond Building Construction, Inc.
  • Richard M. Paglia, Vice President, Marketing & Business Development, Enbridge
  • Shannon Resetich, Global Franchise Head, Rare Diseases, Sanofi Genzyme
  • Edmund (Ted) Shalcross, President and Chief Executive Officer, Amica Mutual Insurance Company
  • Molly K. Williams, Director – Alliance Development, East Team Lead, Pfizer, Inc.

“Each of our five new Directors is respected in their industry, and bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the Council’s Board,” said President & CEO Jim Brett, who serves as the Board’s Secretary.  “We are thrilled to welcome them to the board, and I trust that they will make valuable contributions to the Council’s ongoing work to promote economic growth and strong quality of life in this region we call home.
