Delta Grows New England Network with Two New European Flights

New England Council Member, Delta Air Lines, Inc. is expanding its flights out of Boston Logan International Airport to two European cities. Starting in May 2026, the airline will have a total of 12 direct routes to Europe from Boston. As Delta expands its international scope, it has already surpassed as the largest airline at Logan Airport by number of flights and passengers.
Delta, already the largest carrier at Logan, is expanding its European network to Nice, France, along with a direct flight to the Spanish capital, Madrid, Spain. Delta will be the only current direct flight to Nice out of Logan Airport and they and are committed to “providing an exceptional travel experience from start to finish.” Daily flights from Boston to Madrid begin on May 16, 2026, and three weekly flights from Boston to Nice follow -on May 17, 2026. This new global gateway adds to New England’s expansive European travel for a vibrant vacation or business excursion.
Rich Davey, Massport CEO and New England Council Board Member, said in a statement, “We appreciate our partnership with Delta and are thrilled about their plans to grow their operations at Boston Logan with these new offerings to Spain and France, including Nice which will be our 60th international destination.” Delta Airlines has expressed its ongoing commitment to strengthening Boston’s role as a hub for global travel and commerce.
