Citizens Bank announces new program: “Citizens for Startups”

New England Council member, Citizens Bank, recently unveiled its newest offering this month called “Citizens for Startups.” The program will provide early-stage founders access to customized banking resources, support services from startup bankers, and unique networking opportunities as they navigate complex industry challenges. Clients in the program will work closely with a management team to create personalized, tailored banking solutions suited to their startups’ needs and preferences.

“Founders today face a dynamic environment, and Citizens for Startups stands out as a true differentiator revolutionizing the industry’s approach to banking early-stage entrepreneurs,” said Sam Heshmati, Head of Emerging Venture Capital and Innovation Banking at Citizens Private Bank. “With a proven track record of working closely with VC firms and venture-backed startups from inception to exit and beyond, Citizens’ bankers serve as trusted partners to help founders navigate complex financial challenges and scale effectively.
