American Tower Corporation Announces Partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America

New England Council member American Tower recently announced a partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to enhance the digital literacy and education of approximately 3,000 youth each year.

Through the American Tower Digital Communities program, the partnership will help underserved communities by providing digitally connected, technology-equipped spaces that offer access to education, career skilling, financial literacy, and healthcare services. American Tower has pledged to donate technology enhancements, including new computers and tablets, to six different Boys & Girls Clubs across the country, empowering its members. The partnership has already resulted in the opening of two ‘Digital Communities’ and the companies plan to open an additional four more throughout the year.

“American Tower is excited about our partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, whose scale and curriculum enable us to expand our Digital Communities’ presence within the U.S. and positively impact more youth each year. It is important to us that our Digital Communities support underserved communities in our areas of operation, and with offices nearby in Woburn, MA and Cary, NC, we are grateful for the opportunity to empower our local Boys & Girls Club members through technology enhancements” said Richard Rossi, EVP & President, U.S. Tower Division at American Tower Corporation.

The New England Council congratulates American Tower and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America for this exciting new partnership.
