BOND Brothers Names New President & CEO

Tony Bond Named President & CEO, Kane Cuddy Promoted to Replace Bond

Tony BondNEC member BOND Brothers, Inc. (BOND) recently announced that Tony Bond has been appointed its new President & CEO.  Headquartered in Boston, MA, BOND is a family of companies providing the Northeast with construction management and general contracting services.  Tony Bond is the fifth generation of the Bond family to oversee the company.

Tony Bond replaces Edward A. Bond, Jr as CEO, who will be staying on as Chairman of the Board for BOND, and NEC board member Robert Murray, who held the position of President of BOND for the past 10 years and will stay on as an advisor to the Board. Tony has been with the company for 15 years, with half his time at BOND Building and the other half with BOND Civil & Utility, where he has served as president since 2018.  He holds a Master of Science in Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Vermont and a Masters in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.

“There is no one better suited to shepherd the BOND brand into the future as we continue towards our strategic goals,” said Murray. “Tony’s drive and acumen are unparalleled, and he has proven time and time again to be a tremendous leader throughout his tenure leading projects and business units in both the Building company and Civil & Utility company.”

To replace Bond as President of BOND Civil & Utility Construction, the company as promoted Kane Cuddy.  Cuddy has been with BOND for over 15 years, previously serving as Chief Operations Officer, VP of Operations, VP of Civil Infrastructure, Director of Operations and Project Manager. He has managed the successful delivery of numerous projects within the renewable, gas, electric, power generation and civil infrastructure markets. In his role as Chief Operations Officer, Cuddy streamlined BOND’s project delivery systems and worked to expand the company’s services in its core markets while also expanding its reach to new markets & geographies.
