Experts Offer Insight on What to Expect from Biden Administration, 117th Congress

On February 2, 2021, The New England Council’s Energy & Environment Committee hosted a special program, “2021 Environmental Policy Outlook.” The virtual event featured a panel of environmental policy experts who shared their insights on what to expect from the Biden Administration and the 117th Congress as it relates to environmental regulation and legislation. Our panelists were:

  • Jim Jones, former EPA Assistant Administrator of the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention, and President, JJones Environmental
  • Renee Martin-Nagle, Ph.D., Special Counsel, Eckert Seamans
  • David Rockman, Chair, Environmental Practice Group, Eckert Seamans
  • Tiernan Sittenfeld, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs at the League of Conservation Voters

Mark Kalpin, a Partner at Holland & Knight and the Chair of the NEC Energy & Environment Committee, served as moderator.

Our thanks to Mark and the panel for a very thoughtful, informative, and timely disucssion.  For more information on this program or the Council’s Energy & Environment Committee, please contact Sean Malone.
