Kearney Donovan & McGee Welcomes Former State Representative
NEC member Kearney Donovan & McGee, a Boston-based public affairs firm, recently announced that former Massachusetts State Representative Dan Cullinane has joined the firm. In his new role, Dan will focus on expanding the firm’s municipal, state, and federal practice areas and supporting existing clients.
Dan was first elected to the Massachusetts House of Representatives in 2013, and represented the 12th Suffolk District in Boston for four terms. He most recently served as Acting-Chair of the Joint Committee on Health Care Financing. Dan was also appointed to the Commonwealth Resilience and Recovery Special Committee which was tasked with analyzing the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and developing potential legislative solutions to assist in the economic recovery. During his time on Beacon Hill, Dan also served on the Committees on Ways & Means; Financial Services; and Telecommunications, Utilities & Energy, among others.
A graduate of Providence College, Dan began his career first as an intern and then as Director of Constituent Services for then State Representative, now United States Secretary of Labor, Martin J. Walsh. Dan has also served as an investigator in the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Fair Labor Division, as Communications Director on the Boston City Council and in key positions on multiple statewide and local political campaigns.
