Eversource brings “Main Streets” event to help bring Connecticut businesses affordable energy efficiency upgrades

New England Council member Eversource is bringing its premier small business energy efficiency initiative, Main Streets, back to Connecticut. Eversource has partnered with Hartford, Montville, New London, Torrington, Manchester, Stamford, Newtown, and New Milford to help small business owners meet with contractors who can assess their energy use and discuss cost-saving upgrades.

“We are excited to bring Main Streets to communities across Connecticut, supporting the small businesses that are the backbone of our local economies,” said Tilak Subrahmanian, Eversource Vice President for Energy Efficiency and Electric Mobility. “This initiative delivers real economic value by helping business owners lower operating costs, improve customer and employee comfort, and reinvest in their growth. By making energy efficiency more accessible and affordable, we’re strengthening local businesses and supporting jobs across the state.”

The New England Council commends Eversource for its ongoing commitment to supporting small businesses.
