NEC Board Elects Two New Directors

At its meeting in December 2023, The New England Council’s Board of Directors voted unanimously to elect two new Directors. Chaired by John Hailer, Chairman of Diffractive Managers Group the Council’s Board includes senior leaders from some of the region’s most well-known and well-respected businesses and organizations, representing all six New England states and every sector of the region’s economy.

The new Directors are:

  • Darryl J. Fess, President & CEO, Brookline Bank – Brookline, MA
  • Jamie Oppedisano, Executive Director, Government Banking, J.P. Morgan – Boston, MA

“Darryl and Jamie have both been deeply engaged in the Council’s work for many years, and I’m delighted to welcome them both to the Council’s Board,” said President & CEO Jim Brett, who serves as the Board’s Secretary. “I look forward to continuing to work with them as we strive to enhance the economic well-being and quality of life in our beloved region.”
