Stonehill College raises $77.3 million to improve student access and opportunity

Steege Thomson Communications

New England Council member, Stonehill College, has recently announced its ongoing TO BE BOLD campaign had raised over $77.3 million.

Stonehill’s TO BE BOLD campaign was originally started in 2016 but was not officially launched until 2021. The goal of the campaign was to help improve student access and opportunity, also tackling faculty research and teaching, athletics, programming and facilities, having a fundraising goal of $75 million. With the funds raised, $30 million will create 63 new student scholarships, while expanding on current scholarship offerings and $25 million will help create the new Leo J. Meehan School of Business on campus. Furthermore, this will also support the Stonehill College Fund, which supports various on-campus teaching and innovation programs; such as the H.O.P.E. service immersion program and the Stonehill Undergraduate Research Experience.

“Stonehill was built on boldness. It spurs our readiness and resilience. As we continue our ascent, we are always adapting and improving, never resting on our laurels,” said Patrick Griffin, Stonehill Campaign Chair and Trustee.

The New England Council commends Stonehill College for its commitment to improving student and university life.
