Bank of America donates $500,000 to Nashua Center for the Arts
New England Council member, Bank of America, has given $500,000 in donations to Nashua Center for the Arts. As a result, Bank of America has secured the naming rights to the main theater, which is set to hold 750 people and will ultimately cost $25 million.
With the first donation of $250,000 in 2020, Bank of America helped launch this project and declare support for the fine arts in the Nashua community. The theater is set to open in early April and already has several events planned, including jazz, rock, classical, ballet and theater performances.
Mayor Jim Donchess said the project will help build a “stronger, healthier downtown economy by drawing people to shops and restaurants.” “This will completely change the nature of Nashua’s downtown. We will bring in tens of thousands of people to the downtown area to this spot and elsewhere,” he said.
The New England Council would like to congratulate Bank of America on the completion of this project.
