Financial Services Committee Meeting with Representative Stephen Lynch

On June 13, 2022, The New England Council’s Financial Services Committee met with U.S. Representative Stephen Lynch (D-MA) in Boston, following a Capitol Hill Report breakfast event. Rep. Lynch is a senior member of the House Financial Services Committee and serves as the chair of the Committee’s Taskforce on Financial Technology.

Council members representing a variety of financial services businesses across New England participated in this small group discussion with the Congressman. The discussion covered a wide variety of issues including data privacy and security, digital asset legislation before the House and Senate, ESG policy proposals and commercial development projects around the Boston area.

We are grateful to Rep. Lynch for taking the time to meet with our members.  For more information on the Council’s Financial Services Committee, please contact Griffin Doherty.
