NEC Members Invited to Participate in JA Inspire

Employers Sought for Career Exploration Event for 8th Graders from Underserved Communities

The New England Council is once again partnering with Junior Achievement (JA) of Greater Boston to assist in recruiting employers to participate in the organization’s JA Inspire event this December. JA Inspire is a hands-on career readiness program and exploration fair for eighth-grade students throughout Boston and surrounding communities. The program encourages students to start exploring career options early through dynamic interaction activities and booth presentations.

This year’s event will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, and approximately 1200 students are expected to attend.

Council members interested in learning more about participation are asked to contact Emily Heisig, who can connect you with JA staff to discuss this opportunity.
