New England Council Members honored with 2026 Rhode Island Worksite Health Awards
New England Council members BankNewport, Brown University, Gilbane Inc., Hinckley Allen, Navigant Credit Union, Raytheon Co. – Naval Power, and Providence College were recognized among the recipients of the 2026 Worksite Health Awards, an annual program presented by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island in partnership with the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce. The award acknowledges Rhode Island employers fostering healthy workplaces through wellness programs, workplace policies, and educational opportunities.
These NEC members were recognized as Exemplary recipients, the program’s highest award level. Recipients are recognized on a three-tier system based on a scoring system evaluating several worksite wellness initiatives including flexible work schedules, mental health training availability, and health screenings.
