Fidelity hires 4,000 new employees

New England Council member, Fidelity Investments, recently announced that the company plans to hire 4,000 new employees by the summer of 2023, with 500 of those jobs located in the Boston area.

As Massachusetts’ 21st largest employer, Fidelity hired over 17,000 new employees in 2022 and 16,000 in 2021—900 of those jobs were based in Massachusetts. Fidelity ended 2022 with more than 68,000 employees worldwide with over 5,000 jobs out of Boston.

Kirsten Kyukendoll, Fidelity’s head of talent acquisition, said the company takes a “long-term view to invest in our overall workforce and our people, just as we do in our businesses.” “We’re not only continuing to fill new roles in 2023, but we’re investing in the people who work here through our benefits, career, and development opportunities.”

The New England Council congratulates Fidelity for the addition of this new talent.
