Politics & Eggs

We are pleased to announce the resumption of our "Politics and Eggs" series and, for the next several years, its recasting as an "Issues Forum." Of course, as the 2008 New Hampshire Presidential Primary nears, and candidates declare officially that they are running for their party's nomination, we will once again use our "Politics and Eggs" forums to host the candidates. Already this year we have hosted Nebraska's senior Senator Chuck Hagel and Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico.

Since its inception in 1996, "Politics and Eggs" has hosted nearly every major party presidential candidate, fast becoming a "must-stop" on the presidential campaign trail. In fact, the NBC television show "The West Wing" featured "Politics and Eggs" on a recent episode and even had candidates signing wooden eggs. "Politics and Eggs" operates as a partnership between The New England Council and the New Hampshire Political Library and relies on the generosity of sponsors to offer this program at no cost to our guests.
