David O'Donnell

David began his professional career in 1991 as an associate at the law office of Arnowitz & Goldberg, a firm specializing in creditors’ rights, commercial litigation and insolvency law.  From 1993 through 2006 he worked as an attorney in the office of state Senator Marian Walsh, where he analyzed and drafted legislation and represented the office before both state and municipal boards and committees.  He began 2006 as an Assistant General Counsel in the Massachusetts Executive Office of Environmental Affairs, where he researched and advised  staff on a range of environmental and other legal matters, and later moved to the Massachusetts Department of Labor as the Deputy Director and General Counsel, where he assisted the Director in managing the five agencies within the Department’s jurisdiction and provided legal advice and assistance to the Director and staff.  For the past year he served as an Assistant General Counsel at the Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents where he represented the Department in both administrative and state court proceedings. 

David graduated from Northeastern University in 1988 with a B.A. in History, in and from Suffolk University Law School in 1991.  He lives in Milton, Massachusetts with his wife Caroline and son Graham.
