Kate Brittain

Kate began working for The New England Council in January 2009 and now serves as the Manager of Federal Affairs in the Washington, DC office. She covers Transportation, Education, Technology, and Healthcare issues and is the lead Council staff for the Education Committee. Originally from Tucson, Arizona, Kate comes to the Council by way of the George Washington University, where she received her bachelor’s degree from the Elliott School of International Affairs in 2008. Kate has several years’ experience at community benefit and political organizations, including EMILY’s List where she worked for the communications department.
